The SUBU Annual Review is a yearly round up of the Students' Union at Bournemouth University's charitable activities, encompassing a short booklet and a presentation.

The first edition I worked on was the 2013-14 review shortly after I started working at the organisation. This year the theme was a 20 year retrospective, encompassing not just the previous year's work but a timeline of everything that had happened since the organisation first existed in its current form. The booklet was designed and published as a two-in-one back to back saddlestitch book, with half dedicated to the retrospective and half to the recent activity.

The following year, we underwent a period of transformation, moving into a new complex and undergoing a brand rationalisation; and this was reflected in the new Annual Review document, with a cleaner look that also saw the implementation of a timeline for each department to emphasise that idea of progress or a journey.
